Large pipelines require a specific approach. The Acquarius is the right tool for inline inspections for large diametre pipelines. In one run, the Acquarius provides a complete condition assessment of kilometres of pipelines; without downtime. After the inspection all data is available in the GIS application system of the pipeline owner. This ensures more effective management and maintenance of the pipeline network.
The Acquarius can be deployed to perform inline condition assessments of pressure and transport pipelines with a large diametre. The intelligent robot can be used in (risky) pipelines made of concrete, asbestos cement, cast iron, stainless steel and HPDE/PVC/GRP. The Acquarius provides a comprehensive condition assessment of, among other things, wall thickness degradation, location, corrosion, leaching, diameter and deterioration due to H2S. In one run the Acquarius can, with the use of its sensors, assess the condition of transport, pressure, and sewer pipelines over many kilometres. The measurement data is then automatically uploaded to Acquaint’s Cloud environment. Acquaint analyses all data and provides the pipeline owner the current condition and remaining lifetime of the pipeline. All the information and overviews can be viewed via the advanced dashboard that is available to the pipeline owner or asset manager.
